Can Roqueta

This single-family building, located at the confluence of Sèquia, Circumval·lació streets and Vic road, is a notable example of the Manresa Noucentisme from the 1920s, a work by the architect Roderic Sala. It forms part of a residential setting with buildings from the late 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th century, formerly mixed with industrial uses.

With PB+2 (ground floor, first floor and attic), the building stands out for its symmetrical composition, the careful treatment of the façade with simulated ashlar blocks in relief, a frieze with sgraffiti and a molded cornice. It has original ironwork elements, louvered shutters and ornamental balconies that reinforce its academic and elegant aesthetic.

It preserves an old cellar inside, maintained as it originally was, ideal for scenes related to the world of wine or traditional activities of the Bages region.
