Pirelli Manresa

The Pirelli facilities cover a total area of 165,000 m2 in the area known as Pla de la Roda del Calderer, on the banks of the Cardener River, within the El Pont Nou industrial estate, next to the Transversal axis.

Within the plot there are a total of 95,000 m2 of constructed warehouses, the oldest dating back to 1898 and the most modern to the early 1970s.

All the warehouses and buildings are in good condition, maintaining the interior and exterior structures typical of the period in which they were built.

Until 2010 they hosted tire manufacturing, and since then they have served as a logistics and storage hub for various companies.

Part of these buildings have been declared industrial archaeological heritage.

Typology/Elements

Office building: a two-story building constructed between 1958 and 1961, with interiors that retain their original structure and elements, including period furniture. Rooms and offices of various sizes.
Industrial warehouses of different sizes and construction types. Notable is the warehouse closest to the river, with more than 100 years of history, maintaining its original structure. The Banburys building, 22 meters high and a floor area of 1250 m2 free of columns. Single-story warehouses with sawtooth roofs and natural lighting. Two-story warehouse, 25,000 m2 open space. Some still preserve the original patina from production, with walls that have not been restored or modified.
Interior streets closed to traffic, with straight sections over 300 meters and a total length of more than one kilometer.
