Tower of Saint Catherine

Description of the Gothic-origin defensive tower (19th century), currently disused. The tower is located south of the urban center, in the Guia-Santa Caterina area, elevated above the city center, in an agricultural environment with magnificent views of the urban landscape of Manresa.

Typology/Elements

Circular tower of three floors in height with a circular floor plan and thick walls of decreasing section in height. It features a facade with smooth walls, small openings (loopholes distributed around the perimeter), a single door, and does not retain the original roof. The tower is surrounded in a small valley.
