Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (Althaia)

Sant Joan de Déu Althaia Hospital is the main hospital in Manresa. Inaugurated in 1932, it has undergone several expansions and renovations over the years, becoming the reference hospital for Central Catalonia.

With the latest expansion, the new building is characterized by its brightness, spacious and functional areas. The Althaia Foundation has taken into account input from its professionals in order to ensure user comfort and optimal conditions for performing healthcare tasks.

The Sant Joan de Déu Hospital has a total surface area of 60,000 m2 (40,000 m2 new and 20,000 m2 from the original building), plus about 18,000 m2 of parking space.
It includes, among other things, 402 beds —expandable—, 17 operating rooms, 4 delivery rooms, 69 consulting rooms, 54 expandable emergency boxes, and 16 emergency observation beds.
