Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (Althaia)

Sant Joan de Déu Althaia Hospital is the main hospital in Manresa. Inaugurated in 1932, it has undergone several expansions and renovations over the years, becoming the reference hospital of Central Catalonia.

With the latest expansion, the new building is characterized by its brightness and its spacious, functional areas. The Althaia Foundation has taken into account the contributions of its own professionals in order to achieve comfort for users and the ideal conditions for carrying out care tasks.

Sant Joan de Déu Hospital has a total surface area of 60,000 m2 (40,000 m2 new and 20,000 m2 of the original building), plus about 18,000 m2 of parking.
It has, among other facilities, 402 beds —expandable—, 17 operating rooms, 4 delivery rooms, 69 consultation rooms, 54 emergency boxes expandable and 16 emergency observation beds.
