Chapel and square of Saint Ignatius the Sick
Medieval origin square located within the 11th-century walled enclosure, trapezoidal in shape with an opening on the shorter side. The square has a slight slope and features a small flight of steps on the side that provides access to Carrer de Pedregar.
In the same square we find the Chapel of Saint Ignatius the Sick (originally the house of the Amigant family), where, during his stay in Manresa, Saint Ignatius was taken in during a period in which he was ill. The space was converted into a chapel, inaugurated in 1703 and renovated in 1778. The building, recognized as a Local Heritage Asset, was thoroughly restored in 2015.
