Capella and Sant Ignasi Malalt square
A medieval-origin square located within the 11th-century walled enclosure, with a trapezoidal shape and an opening on the shorter side. The square has a slight slope and features a small section of stairs on the side that gives access to Carrer de Pedregar.
In the same square, we find the Chapel of Saint Ignatius the Sick (originally the Amigant family house), where, during his stay in Manresa, Saint Ignatius was received at a time when he was ill. The space was converted into a chapel, inaugurated in 1703 and renovated in 1778. The building, recognized as a Local Cultural Heritage Asset, was extensively restored in 2015.
