Residential complex Sagrada Família

Residential complex built between 1953-1954 and 1963-1966 in a postwar classicist style.

Typology/Elements

Set of 10 rectangular prismatic building blocks that form the urbanization mass and define the streets and access points.

The facades are composed symmetrically and in an orderly manner, based on a unitary rhythm determined between the reference elements of vertical communication (stairwells), which are framed in a differentiated way (with exposed brickwork and a large longitudinal window). From these central symmetry axes, where the ground-floor entrances are located, the openings are orderly distributed in a single facade plane, perimetrically framed by exposed brickwork and capped at the top by a simple cornice that forms a prominent eave supported by simple prefabricated brackets. All the openings also have a prefabricated stone frame.
