Residential Complex Name Sagrada Família
Residential complex built between 1953-1954 and 1963-1966 in post-war classicist style.
Typology/Elements
Set of 10 rectangular prismatic building blocks that form the bulk of the urbanization and define streets and access routes.
The façades are symmetrically and orderly composed, based on a unified rhythm defined by the vertical circulation elements (stairwells) which are framed in a differentiated way (with exposed brickwork and a large longitudinal window). From these central symmetry axes where the ground floor entrances are located, the openings are evenly distributed on a single façade plane, bordered by exposed brickwork and topped with a simple cornice forming a prominent eave supported by simple prefabricated brackets. All openings also feature prefabricated stone framing.
