The Anonymous, Building of the Segre hydroelectric power plant
The building of the Segre hydroelectric power company, popularly known as the Anònima building, is a construction of academic industrial architecture, dating from the late 19th century (1893-1894). Located in the expansion area, in the Remei neighborhood and next to Vic road, it is a complex of buildings that occupies almost the entire plot. Among them, the building facing the street and the chimney stand out. The built fabric is quite consolidated and presents a homogeneous image.
Typology/Elements
Industrial building forming part of the urban fabric. Former textile factory. Set of buildings clad in different periods. The access body between party walls with façade onto Llussà Street stands out, with a square plan and symmetry axis. On one side there is the stairwell.
